Ah, Jarmine, you are so good at what you do! Every time I get a cut or color by Jarmine, it turns out beautifully. She gives excellent advice and is one of the best colorists I've ever had. If you like to get the flat-iron treatment, she is great with that too. She knows how to get even the most kinky hair, bone-straight. She is very precise with her cuts and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
This salon is brand-new with really chic, clean, and coordinated interior design. They offer you beverages and often have little treats to share as well. If there was more then 5 stars then I would give it to Christina. I can't believe how long it took me to write this, but Christina is truly an artist. She was so accommodating in squeezing me in for a color right before my wedding and styling all of my bridesmaids and myself for my wedding. She is absolutely amazing. I am recommending her to all my future bride friends. If I lived a smidgen closer to the area I would be going to Christina all the time... The other day I told my husband that I finally love my hair again. I've been here twice in a short time. Once to get an all-over color and then a few weeks later to get highlights. Christina and Monica Tassi are amazing! Christina did an amazing job with my hair! She did a hair trial about a month before my wedding. She even suggested I try hair extensions- something I never even thought of. She bought them for me and they were my exact hair color. They really made the difference in my hair style - giving me volume and really dramatic hair. I loved it. Monica Tassi did an awesome job with my makeup. Her airbrush skills are flawless. After searching all over the Chicago land area for a regular salon, I found D'AMICI. The cute new hair salon is welcoming and offered great customer service. I have an extensive work schedule and my stylist, Caley, accommodated my schedule and kept my appointment. Even though I was late, she took her time and made my hair look perfect! So I was referred to this new establishment by a friend; however, i discovered that the stylists are not new to the area. Very contemporary, yet comfortable and warm. The staff was very nice, they were very busy when I walked in, yet someone found time to take my coat, offer me water, even guide to to the client coffee Bar for further beverage selections. My stylist was Debra. I was in for a men's haircut and color. I was definitely seeking a new look to go into the New Year, I just told her I wanted it shorter and let her craft my new look. Needless to say, it came out awesome!! Debra is a true professional, and has the vision to transform you! Absolutely AMAZING! I went in last week, when my "regular" hair stylist cancelled on me at the last minute. I had my hair bleached, cut, styled highlighted and colored. I have been a customer of Debbie for about 3 years. Debbie always has good sense and she recommended to me a new product to try a few months ago. She said it would strengthen my hair and provide nourishment to it. Also she said it would not fade as easily. So, I took her advice and tried it. It is an amazing product. It covers my gray completely and the color seems to last much longer. Since I was having trouble with some hair loss, after my first try I noticed I even began to grow new fuller hair. We loved Jarmine at "that other hair salon" in La Grange so imagine my surprise when I went here for a haircut and she was my stylist! Both my daughter and I are fans. She gave me a great haircut (from a longish bob to very, very short) and I love it. Reasonably priced, too. Will definitely recommend this place.- Laura T.
